Groups

Lichfield u3a offers a wide variety of friendly and informal interest and activity groups. Through these, you may find just the opportunity you've been waiting for, to try out something new, or to develop your skills.

Members may join as many Groups as take their interest; if you are not (yet) a member of Lichfield u3a, you may attend 2 x Group sessions, before you must join to continue.

Want to start a new group?

Although we have a wide variety of groups, there's always room for more! For ideas, please see our "- Potential New Group -" item in the list below the buttons. If you have an idea for a new group and would like to assess people's interest, ask the Group Coordinator to contact all members to see if there is anyone else who'd like to find out more. Ask the Group Leaders Coordinator for help in setting up your new group.

Is there a group that you'd like to join, but it's full? Others might be in a similar position. You could set up another group. We have many examples of more than one group within one area of interest e.g. Art Appreciation, Poetry, Guitar. Contact the Group Coordinator if you need help.
