Our talk this month was given by Paul Lillie, followed by entertainment from our Guitar Group 2.

Paul works as an Artist at Nottingham City hospital where his unique mixture of art and music has proved a huge success in supporting the wellbeing and mental health of patients. In his talk Paul performed songs on his guitar, encouraging audience participation as he traced the career of the Fab Four from their early rock and roll roots through to their experimental later work .

Paul trained at The Wimbledon School of Art, and has appeared on various BBC programmes, such as The One Show and The Simon Mayo Show, discussing popular culture.

Our very own Guitar Group 2 played the music of The Beatles after the talk.
